The Daddy-Doo Band features original tunes that connect kids and parents. The band’s specific niche is tunes about childhood and parenting that are more serious than silly. The end result is listenable and enduring songs that “don’t drive adults crazy.” The band utilizes lots of acoustic guitar, keyboard, and vocal harmony in an alternative rock format. The songwriting style is often Beatlesque. |

The band and its support network are comprised of parents and staff from the St. Paul Public Schools Early Childhood Family Education Program (ECFE). It is purely a not-for-profit venture. All proceeds go to the Rondo ECFE Parent Advisory Council which help pay for special events, field trips and scholarships for families with children birth to five years of age. |
